Ronald McDonald House

Our Chicago crew has been cooking away at one of the local Ronald McDonald Houses. Since the kitchen is at the heart of every home, the Ronald McDonald House offers a home cooked evening meal each night for the families that are staying there while faring for their young children in nearby hospitals. Four times a year, the Chicago team volunteers at one of the three Ronald McDonald Houses’ in the Chicagoland area. We have been doing this for the past 5 years.

Our Rose Paving team will plan the menu, purchase the ingredients, and prepare the meal for the families. This year we asked some of our clients to join us. For our Mexican themed dinner in April, Tim Chimack had a great team of helpers: Cara Chearo and Robin Garity from CBRE joined us, along with Karen Camerano (ABM Janitorial Services), Tom Kelly (Balanced Environments), Suzanne Boryscka (Lincoln Property Co), and Dean MacMorris (Night Light).

In May, Kevin Tiernan, Neal Wolf, and Tim planned an Italian feast for a king. Jim Benecke (Acres Group), Dawn Carlstrom (Mimosa Interior Landscape) and Ann Del Fiacco (Office Depot) helped in the kitchen. As you can see, everyone had a great time.

Don’t let any of these Rose Paving guys fool you – they all know their way around the kitchen!
