What a great day! The menu was a big hit with the kids and staff with all the favorites of a BBQ including hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and juice! While the grills were firing up, the hula hoops were putting a spin on things and of course always fun for everyone blowing tiny bubbles! A fun time was had by all at the Rose Paving BBQ at the Tampa Children’s Home!
The Children’s Home is a caring organization that “strengthens communities through programs that support, serve and protect children and their families.” Programs include family support services serving thousands of families and children, foster care for children finding the forever home, and healing the trauma of abuse & neglect helping them understand their past and realize their dreams for a promising future.
Rose Paving enjoyed spending time with these amazing children and staff, and all were very appreciative of the fun lunch and the generosity of donations. The Tampa office was able to donate sunscreen and cabana towels and checked the list of urgent items needed for donation, and in April started a collection of hygiene products.
