Concrete is exceptionally durable, but that doesn’t make it immune to wear and tear. Regular maintenance and repair of your walkways, curbs, gutters and more will help them stand the test of time. All Rose Paving professionals are well versed in concrete and asphalt, and are capable of extending the life of your parking lot. Scroll to see some of our latest projects from around the country.
Protecting pavement and sidewalks from normal wear and tear
Standing water is not only unattractive and a hassle for those navigating your property, but it also wears down protective coating and weakens the sub base. Ensure your drainage system is working properly by inspecting your catch basins and gutters frequently and making the appropriate repairs and upgrades. We recently installed concrete collars to reinforce and strengthen six catch basins on a client’s property in Schiller Park, IL. Our crew also removed and replaced slabs of concrete to make two sidewalks safer for pedestrians so that our client could focus on their business without worrying about potential accidents and liability.

Making minor fixes for a major impact
While preventative maintenance protects your parking lot from long-term degradation, accidents do happen and need to be addressed immediately. The best pavement management plans include a flexible but fixed budget, which allows maintenance dollars to adapt to any pavement situation. A long-time client wanted us to remove and replace a concrete wheel stop and repair a catch basin at their location in Vero Beach, FL. When we showed up to repair over 1,300 feet of asphalt, we included the minor repairs in our services. Our crews finished the asphalt work, strengthened the lower part of a catch basin with mortar and replaced a concrete wheel stop, all without interrupting our client’s strict delivery schedule.

Preventing flooding in the long term
Invest in your parking lot’s future without impeding present-day business by working with a team experienced in asphalt and concrete. We recently helped a multi-tenant retail center in Anaheim, CA, put together a two-year plan to extend the life of their paving, which included the installation of a new concrete gutter. When completed, the gutter funneled stormwater away from the property and prevented flooding from deterring customers and hurting business. We scheduled our work in phases so the busy retail center could remain fully operational during the installation project.
