John Sands serves as Vice President of Rose Paving LLC, bringing over 15 years of expertise in both sales and operations. A graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, John later pursued a Master’s degree in Community Counseling while mentoring student leaders as the Greek Life Graduate Assistant.

John began his career with Rose Paving in Denver, Colorado, and in 2010, he relocated to Atlanta to support the growth and development of the company’s Georgia office. Since then, he has held key leadership roles, including Director of Sales, Director of Operations, and General Manager, before advancing to his current position. He is passionate about leading motivated, successful teams and believes that a well-defined company culture is essential to achieving lasting success.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling with friends and family, and pursuing his love of music and fitness. An active volunteer, he dedicates time to the National Cancer Society and regularly participates in 5K runs with staff and clients, supporting philanthropic causes through these initiatives. John is also a member of Vistage, a global organization for executive coaching and leadership development, where he continues to hone his leadership skills and contribute to business excellence.
